I am in the Netherlands.  Did I not mention that?  Alas, I was busy packing and not learning any Dutch.  I”ll have plenty to write about when I get back (Roughly the 11th, in case you were counting down), but meanwhile, here is a little preview of some things I’ve learned: The Dutch do not close their window curtains except when their houses are near boats.  The wind-mills, they aren’t “Milling” anything, in your classic grain sense.  They are keeping the country dry.  Not wanting raisins in your Christmas Oil Ball (further explanation to come at a later date) is considered practically plebeian by most Dutch.  More to come on my return…
