Biden’s Fatherly Fucking Advice

In case you missed this one, moments after President Obama signed the Health Care Bill into law Biden shook his hand and said, “This is a big fucking deal.” They were sweet words, sort of. What’s hilarious about this isn’t that it was caught on the microphones but that, on its own, it was a weird thing to say. Saying something is a “big fucking deal” is what you say to your buddies when they’re talking about breaking up with a girlfriend. The setting would be outside of a bar. The constituents would be a minimum of four beers deep, though probably closer to seven. Later, when the moment had settled, one of the constituents would drive unsafely.
