A friend of mine sent me a link to a review of a new blog that features “Hot Guys Reading Books.” The idea being that some women are really turned on by images of casual guys doing some casual reading.  But why should book-worms get all the love?

I can’t speak to the attractiveness of men reading books, but it got me to thinking that I must look pretty sexy around eleven in the morning when I am plugging away at the blog or some other legitimate internet venture, still in my underwear, barely one cup of tea into the day.  It’s the focus that gets a woman’s attention, isn’t it?  Girls want a fellow who can show dogged determination and an almost unholy drive to get down to work with little regard to style or personal hygiene.

If I were truly a child of the WEB 2.0, this article would merely be a lunching point to a brave new endeavor, a blog which would feature only the manliest of coders, writers, blog-folk, etc, exhibiting all their rough, unbridled sex-appeal as they plug away at their PHP (that’s a very nerdy reference, I assure you).  Instead, let’s leave this as an invitation for someone else to take up the cause, or else discuss, ala me as a paper-doll, what might look best on me were I to actually pull myself away from Google News for more than the fifteen minutes it would take to put on a decent pair of pants.

And then of course there is always this hunk who wanted in on the action.

This is too funny. If people are now blogging about hot men reading books, I’m moving to Borneo. Really, who came up with this concept?

On a separate matter, please comment on this blog of sorts or submit your picture:

Is it possible there’s a support group for family jewels? I’ve seen everything now.

Please delete, Thomas, if this post is too offensive to your readers.

Is penis a part of the family jewels? I always thought the jewels were just the testicles.
