I am playing around with a new look to try to streamline this site and make it a lot more appealing.  I know a lot of you really liked the look of the last one but I think, once I put the work in, this new version will look and feel a whole lot better.  Just starting on it today, but I think I’ve got it so that everything you might want to check out is still accessible.  Comment here or email me if you have any questions, concerns, or comments.

Thanks, ModernSophist

Yeah, okay, so you’re the second design minded person to comment on the papyrus. But you’ve got to give me a break here cause, admittedly, I don’t know what I’m doing. It’s all first attempt stuff.

So, you don’t like it? I feel like I have walked into a party wearing something that was so two years ago.

So what’s better? Give me a little inside on what’s hot in font design. And, remember, so far my only assets have been time, gumption and the regrettable limitations of powerpoint as a graphic design medium (ugh, sigh, and double boo, I realize.)

The video was amusing. A few parts made me laugh pretty hard. However, am I wrong in assuming that the script was most likely written so that some lucky bastard got to grab that exceptionally attractive girl’s breasts and bum?

Nah, the boob grab was a bonus for our star, and prompted by the lead actress of all people. Forgot I had tested that out. Thanks for checking it out.

long story short, use a classic serif, or san serif font. no pseudo-egypt-oldtimey font that is overused incorrectly. it was a good typeface, and can still be used for a VERY limited amount of applications. but more often than not, the font and the way it is set are inappropriate, with regard to design fundamentals

Ugh. My Greek kingdom for such advice ahead of time. It’s not that the process of doing it over might be difficult, it’s working up the nerve to sit up, put my smokes away, and take the time to do it. Double ugh.
