Many locations are reporting that the iPad is selling out completely, due to its upcoming album featuring the Jonas Brothers.  This comes as sad news for the true, die-hard fans who were there for the iPad from the beginning, just two months ago.  Does this spell the end of the days when the iPad was the cutting edge of rebellious technology?  Some supporters think so.

Mike Kripke of Seattle, Washington, one of the first to buy the iPad, said, “Yeah, I was really into the Ipad’s earlier works.  I mean, it was totally new.  Here was a keyboard that, you know, was, like, flat.  But the keys felt real, you know?  And I think that’s what it was all about, being flat.  I mean, that’s how I felt, flat, and it really touched me.”

When asked what Mike felt about the Ipad’s upcoming side projects with The Jonas Brothers, he said, “Yeah, I mean, I suppose I’ll still support the Ipad and all.  But, it’s like, it’s not like the original, flat stuff.  I mean, what’s next, some kind of sponsorship deal with Nike or something?”

In fact, the iPad is set to sign a three year contract with Nike, promoting its new flat-line sports-wear.

Special thanks to Scott Burris for creating the image for the upcoming Jonas Brothers/Ipad album cover.
