As far as I’m concerned, storms come from LA.  The best storms I’ve ever seen were all produced on soundstages or by various algorithms with fancy, yet direct names like Flame and Smoke.  So imagine the inspiration these producers would get with a real storm.  Maybe it would reinvigorate the whole doomsday weather genre and we can remake such classics as Tornado and Deep Impact (note the decision to have an asteroid categorized as a meteorological event).  Do you have any idea how long I’ve been waiting to see a Tornado 2: Even Twistier?

I wish no ill upon the city, really.  But a tornado would really stir thing up (couldn’t help myself).  It would finally balance the whole New York/LA argument.  “Yeah, but you guys don’t even know what weather is”

“Bullshit, how about the tornado of 2010″

“Touche sir.  Touche.”

Thank you. Let us pray for good weather. (good, in this case, meaning, bad)
